Pleasant Ridge Retail, Services and Entertainment District

  • The Pleasant Ridge business district is now recognized as a Community Entertainment District by the City of Cincinnati and the State of Ohio.

The CED means new liquor licenses are available for restaurants and cafes directly from the state with no waiting list and avoiding costly broker fees that currently can cost $25,000 to $35,000 a piece within Cincinnati.

  • The district’s designation and recognition will be promoting the entire area and raising the neighborhood’s businesses profile, saving you marketing money.

Many of Pleasant Ridge’s rents and leases for retail space have come down to prices not seen for nearly a decade.

  • Overlapping with the active arts collaborative effort known as District A, Pleasant Ridge and Kennedy Heights have created a highly marketable new Arts and Entertainment District.

Pleasant Ridge is only minutes away from I-71, I-75, Norwood Lateral and Cross County Highway.

  • Pleasant Ridge is a short, convenient drive from Blue Ash, Hyde Park, Oakley and Amberly Village.  Wyoming, Montgomery, Madiera, Clifton and Mariemont are less than fifteen minutes away.

The intersection of Ridge and Montgomery roads sees an estimated 45,000 cars pass through it everyday.

  • The business district scores a “very walkable” 80 out of 100 according to the well-respected WalkScore.com.

A variety of spaces from cozy to dramatic are available inside well-maintained turn-of-the-Century architecture.

  • Due to Good Neighbor agreements with Fifth Third Bank, PNC Bank, Mullaney’s Pharmacy and others, an abundance of free evening parking is conveniently found throughout the district.
